• Nurse should check the identification band on the wrist of baby/child in each shift.
• Ensure that infection control protocol is followed strictly before handling babies.
• The nurse has special technical skills to handle equipments in the intensive care area
• Nurse has to continuously monitor the haemodynamics of the patient and report immediately to the Intensivist.
