Cash Application / Finance Background US Based Experience

Process Description: Cash application is the process of matching a payment from a customer to the corresponding invoice being paid in the seller's accounts receivable ledger. It is an essential part of accounts receivable management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and apply the cash/credit flow into the system against invoice/debits which is not been automatically applied by the system itself
• Research and resolve unidentified & unapplied payments
• Research and respond to generic mailbox queries
• Participate in weekly calls with clients to resolve process issues
• Update Cross entity payment trackers
• Should have a deep knowledge in the process
• People who handled all areas of Cash Application not only the reconciliations.
• Should be able to handle refunds, suspense accounts, escrow accounts etc
• People who has practice handling customers directly on payment details
• Analytical skill required to resolve messy accounts - Problem solving

Minimum Experience/Education:

• College Graduate degree in any stream
• Strong accounting background
• 2-3 years of experience in Cash Application process or Accounts Receivable process
• Should have experience working in night shift 6:00 PM IST to 7:00 AM IST
• Should be ready to work in night shift – 6:00 PM IST to 7:00 AM IST (US Process – Permanent Night Shift)
• Good organizational and time management skills required.
• Should have good communication and email etiquettes.
• Strong customer service approach required.
• WFO was provided only during Covid-19 pandemic, we are in the process of bringing back people to office and candidates should be open to work from office.
