Technology Delivery - Infrastructure Support Manager
Is responsible to manage production support, development and maintenance activities of complex applications and multiple vendor products in multiple support frameworks (12X7, 12X5 etc)
Works closely with the Technology Lead to for effective troubleshoot advanced network, server and application issues independently and provide alternative solutions
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in recommending newer technology practices, understanding current standards and upgrading systems as required by market and organization frameworks
Accountable for specific functions in areas where the alignment includes a clear delivery accountability:
Workflow management & direction
Daily assignments
Hands on involvement for technical resolution
Escalation of problems/issues
Project delivery/management
Shift/on-call planning
Continual service improvement
May assist senior Technology Managers in building the Product/ Application/Tools Strategy (Road Map etc) and work towards enhancing the value to the larger organization (including increasing the application footprint EGS, enhancing stability of the applications from the function perspective)
Stakeholder Management
Is responsible for developing, maintaining ongoing engagement with global LoB partners and other stakeholders in WFT and WFT at EGS teams.
Is responsible for planning, Consulting, negotiating and manage deliverables of the business & technology requirements
Is responsible to build effective relationships with offshore vendors partners servicing the portfolio
Interfaces with senior stakeholders basis business need
Talent/ People Management
Is responsible for developing people and manage Talent effectively
Is responsible for creating opportunities for team members growth
Is accountable for expectations setting (goal settings) for the team members in line with the larger LoB and EGS goals (functional - technical/domain and behavioral)
Is responsible to mentor team members and provide avenues to meet the team members aspirations
Works closely with the HR Partners on various talent items covering the entire talent landscape (include but not limited to the below):
Hiring the right talent to meet the business needs (work closely with the EGS Talent Acquisition Teams)
Managing overall performance of the team members and ensure to build and sustain high performance work culture
Accountable for the overall engagement of the work group and manage attrition
Operational and Process Management
Is responsible to manage to manage the Production Issues and drive the technical discussions/bridge calls from an Incident, Problem Management
Is responsible to manage service performance measures tied to business and technology outcomes and lead technical solutions where applicable
Is responsible to develop, drive and create visibility of technology delivery through reporting of relevant metrics (operational and functional) for the LoB leadership and WFT partners
Is responsible to continually identify and drive opportunities for process improvement
