Work you’ll do

As an Assistant Manager in our Tax team, you will build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You will:

• Dealing with APA and MAP engagements. Working with All India teams on 200+APA engagements from filing APA applications to conclusion of APA agreement.
• Dealing with APA related queries from all India teams with respect to Deloitte APA credentials for a particular industry or a particular transactions for making business proposals. Sharing sample documents, submissions, indicative questions for various cases based on other cases in sanitized version to leverage on and build internal efficiencies.
• Update, maintain and enhance internal website for all important updates, sanitized documents, presentations on APA and MAP on DMAPA.
• Maintaining complete update in every APA and MAP case and regular MIS of the APA and MAP cases for at all India level.
• Assisting in business development by identifying APA prospects based on APA renewal cases, TP litigation cases etc. and creating salesforce mapping and SAP mapping of Deloitte existing relationship for strategizing BD initiatives
• Logistic support to all India teams in filing APA applications, MAP applications, APA submissions etc. with the APA authorities.
• Liaising with the APA team members in APA Commissionerate and in CBDT at lower level for various coordination and smooth work execution.
• Assistance in research for TP Quality Audi Reviews and technical Queries.
• Assisting in carrying out research for writing TP position paper/ concept paper/ PoVs.
• Assisting in carrying out macro-economic analysis for specific industry issue such as royalty for automotive industry, export subsidy received by manufacturing companies etc.
• Analysing and summarizing domestic and international TP cases for issuing monthly TP alerts.
• Assisting in making presentation for internal or external training/webcast.
• Assisting in drafting Deloitte TP news alert along with managing internal risk, brand approval etc.

Qualifications

• CA or CS or MBA Finance Primer Institutes
• Preferably 1-2 year Experience in Transfer Pricing
• Strong Technical Knowledge & clarity of concepts
• Leadership Qualities
• Creative and Innovative thinking
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• People’s person
• Persistent and persuasive
