About the Role

Team members negotiate, review, create and execute the Supply chain contracts. Leads contract negotiation and conducts basic analysis of vendor contracts to identify inconsistencies with standard template language. Analyzes database to identify cost and business opportunities. Scope limited to contract negotiations and vendor relationships of low to medium complexity and dollars. Completes work under direction of more experience staff.

Responsibilities

Develops Strategic sourcing strategies and leads contract negotiations for low to medium risk products and/or services.
Well versed with contract principles and drafts non-standard contract terms and conditions.
Review, draft and negotiate IT contracts
and prepare Executive briefs.

Research vendor contracts to identify existing relationships, rights, risks and obligations.
Experience on multiple categories.
Proactively identifies and analyzes cost savings opportunities.
Analyze the most advantageous offer.
Acts as the primary liaison for current and potential suppliers for low to medium risk/dollar spend.
Identifies and escalates risk-related issues and identifies alternative options/solutions.
Maintains current status and engagement information related to active engagements in Strategic Sourcing systems.

Market Skills and Certifications

Essential Qualifications

Experience of more than 3-4 years in supply chain management.

Strong analytical skills.

Experienced in negotiating Professional service category contracts

Desired Skills

Ability to structure and communicate decisions to senior management.

Well-versed with Professional service IT Contractual terms

Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.

Excellent networking and negotiation skills.
