Minimum qualifications:

- 10 years of experience in the telcommunication industry, across devices, network infrastructure, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) , IT, and/or related start-ups
- Experience across partner development and management activities
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with C-level executives
- Ability to evolve business and market strategy based on research, data, and industry trends
- Ability to work in a matrixed structure
- Ability to define and drive large initiatives across organizational boundaries, and represent complex business or technical concepts internally and externally

As a Strategic Partnership Development Manager, you will use a strategic approach to identify and execute against opportunities that keep Android's growth going. You will help the Platforms & Ecosystems leadership team to build go-to-market plans, deliver local market insights, and identify opportunities to grow partner relationships.
In this role, you will also act as a trusted advisor to other Google Product Areas (PAs) on strategy formulation, help open doors with relevant telecommunication executives, and support a cohesive strategy for Android and other PAs (e.g., YouTube, Google Cloud, Hardware, and Google Pay).

Responsibilities
- Own the performance of Android with a mobile partner across all key metrics, including distribution, market share acquisition and retention, and Android wide platform business generation (e.g., Carrier Billing, Google Play, entry level device, Android TV, Chromebooks, and Tablets).
- Work with Android and Google Play Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Tax teams on new initiatives and key strategic relationships.
- Advise Product teams on mobile partner's requirements to ensure platform and product relevance to support growth strategies.
- Be the escalation point of contact internally and externally for the mobile partner relationship.
