The Consumer Marketing team at Amazon India is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced Business Development Leader for the Amazon Associates Program. With its network of lakhs of partners, publishers and influencers; the Associates program is a global leader in online marketing and one of the largest paid advertising channels for Amazon. As a customer-obsessed, digital media enthusiast - you will use your deep knowledge of the digital space to identify new sources of traffic that will drive business growth and will collaborate with and influence product teams (both internal and external) to develop innovative integrations which help us unlock and capitalize on these opportunities.

You are an excellent oral and written communicator and possess an analytical approach to Business Development, leverage data and judgement to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work closely and constructively with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You're particularly adept at independently developing strong, one-to-one relationships with senior leaders both internal and external. You have experience navigating new & ambiguous areas and have the ability to influence product leaders and incorporate product requirements into negotiations and contracts.

Specific responsibilities include the following:

  • Provide thought leadership, and educate various internal stakeholders with customer trends and identify new opportunities for traffic growth.
  • Conceptualize and build new engagement models for new and upcoming sources of traffic.
  • Pitch, onboard and scale new partners.
  • Work with partner product and tech teams to drive integration for Amazon offerings within partner ecosystems.
  • Drive special deal terms and negotiations with partners to optimize collaboration.
  • Drive adoption of Associates products including tools to implement effective integrations (links, display units, etc.), reporting tools, product feeds etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of business development, partnerships experience with at least 3 years in the digital space

  • MBA/Masters degree in management

  • Highly analytical and data driven
  • Demonstrated ability to manage lead teams and drive both strategic thinking and execution

  • High quality verbal and written communication and comfort with data-based decision making. Frequent documentation for leadership updates expected.
  • Experience leading large projects across cross-functional teams with demonstrated interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Performance marketing experience

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to define and successfully deliver complex projects with superior ROI—from business case development, to experimentation and to scale up
