Job Description

You will be responsible for verifying requirements, defining architecture, developing an implementation plan, providing thought leadership for data solutions, including designing data solutions that meet and exceed business expectations. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide direction to Data Engineers overseeing the development, unit testing and documentation for the developed solution and develop strong stakeholder relationships for ongoing business
• For success in this role, you will be experienced with the Cloud-based Data Solution Architectures, Data Engineering and ETL tools/platforms, and data modeling practices.
• You will be responsible for development and deployment of new data platforms
• You will be responsible for creating reusable components for rapid development of data platform
• You will be responsible for deploying AI algorithms into the data platform to run predictive analytics at scale.

Essential Competencies

• Experience leading a technical team
• Ability to clarify/translate stakeholder requirements into Epics/Stories & remove ambiguity
• Ability to mentor DE team members
• Ability to present to groups of mixed technical ability
• Understanding of core business intelligence (BI)/data warehousing technology: RDBMS, Web, Client/ Server, and OLAP Skills

Skills Required

• 12+ years Data Warehouse/Data Lake Architecture and Development
• 8+ years Data Modeling & Architecture
• Experience on Cloud Solutions (preferably GCP)
• ETL/ELT Pipelines - Informatica
• API/Embedded experience
• Good working knowledge of CICD tools
• Expertise in SQL, Python & Scala
• Data prep
