What you’ll achieve
As a Software Engineer 2, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customer’s business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.

You will:

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments
  • Prepare written software/storage specifications for sophisticated products from architectural diagrams and documents
  • Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed
  • Implement Client and Server-side automations within the ServiceNow platform with scripting, including but not limited to Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Actions, Workflows, Data Policies, ACLs, etc
  • Implement integrations with external systems for the ServiceNow platform with scripting, including but not limited to Scripted REST API, Scheduled Jobs, ECC Queue, Event Queue,

Essential Requirements

  • 2–5 years’ experience with ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of programming language, ideally JavaScript (Glide), AngularJS, Jelly, HTML/CSS and XML/JSON
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of ServiceNow’s core architecture and primary applications modules, including but not limited to Incident, Service Catalog, Change, CMDB, KB, Self-Service, Update Sets, etc
  • Ability to Design and Implement custom user interface to provide general availability for internal tools with scripting, including but not limited to UI Scripts, UI Macro, UI Page and GlideAjax
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix issues that our customers may have

  • Desirable Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
