Job Description Summary
All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
•Hands on experience to fulfill all assigned duties for operation and maintenance of Substation/HV/EHV lines for customer owned wind farms in the region.
•Hands on experience on High/Medium Voltage AC/DC system. Operation and Maintenance, troubleshooting & repair activities.
• Provide customers with high quality, value added service solutions including Operations, maintenance, troubleshooting and spare management.• Responsible for achieving the availability targets & ensure minimum system outage.
•Proactively plan and effectively execute all preventive/predictive maintenance activities required for EHV/HV & substations as per Protocol.• Maintain & ensure power evacuation of the wind farm along with coordination with DISCOM on planned/unplanned activities.
• Complete & maintain all necessary technical and business documentation on time and accurate.
• Shall be responsible for taking the shutdown from concerned agencies with authority to issue work permits & shutdown.• Handle & coordinate with security agencies for smooth operation of wind farm.
• Environmental, Health and Safety mindset and compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Services & On Site Services. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
Desired Characteristics
• B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engg. (EEE) / Diploma with 6 year of relevent experience.
