Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Principal – Software Services Sales are the Sales experts and advisors to clients.
  • As a Principal, Candidate must understand the client’s business requirements, technical requirements and/or competitive landscape.
  • Apply business insights, build and maintain client relationships, incorporate IBM Automation portfolio into client-valued solutions and ensure client readiness for the implementation of technical solutions.
  • Automation Principal will be a business development consultant and trusted advisor to IBM clients.
  • Understand the client’s business requirements and technical requirements, Apply industry specific knowledge and experience, as well as deep product skill and competitive knowledge to bring new business and technology insights to assigned clients, in order to help drive Revenue and Signing for the Automation portfolio.
  • Candidate must be self-motivated, driven to win services sales opportunities, and ready to interact daily with customers, various business units, partners & System Integrators.
  • Collaborate with other internal IBM teams to drive unmatched customer satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation, IBM Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps and IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation and its components.
  • Skilled in consultative selling, with an understanding of the client’s needs and IBM capabilities. Commercially minded and capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements with the ability to think, plan and act strategically.
  • Self-starter with eagerness to seek and build new skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or in Information Technology. Fluent in English.
  • At least 10 yrs of experience in Project/Product experience with preference from Sales background either Services or Product.
  • Good Acumen on Financial and negotiation skill.
