Looking for candidates who can provide support to strategic marketing planners on targeted research, communications, campaign support, operations, and planning and reporting, by leveraging strong marketing research, analysis, and presentation skills.

Someone with experience in marketing operations such as marketing communications, budgeting, campaigns support, reporting, building relationships, sharing new ideas, and working in teams. Someone who has a flair for marketing and research, is open to learning, and can quickly adapt to changing business requirements.

Key skills and professional experience:


Overall, 4+ years’ experience with at least 3 years of relevant marketing and research experience and interaction with marketers based in the U.S.

· Sound knowledge of professional services marketing, digital platforms, and secondary research skills. Exposure to information and secondary research databases such as Factiva, OneSource, Hoovers, Thomson, BoardEx, etc.

· Advanced knowledge of marketing concepts, strategies of professional services organizations. Should be adept in handling requests related to marketing communications, operations, and reporting

· Ability to understand the big picture and deliver as per the expectations with limited guidance

· Advanced knowledge in MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong competency in data analysis and management with an ability to synthesize and draw logical inferences from the data

· Good data visualization skills and ability to present analysis in intuitive graphical and tabular formats. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau will be an added advantage

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

· Good understanding of social media platforms – Twitter, LinkedIn, SlideShare, etc.

· Strong reviewing skills and attention to detail. Tracking quality metrics and help the management to make effective decisions from the metrics

· Excellent team player with experience working in virtual teams

· Strong project management skills – ability to scope, plan, execute and delivery of projects

Work you’ll do

As a Senior Analyst in the USI Marketing Strategy & Planning (MS&P) team you would support marketing operations and secondary research for various marketing initiatives and campaigns related to industries, markets, functions; conduct analysis; assist in the preparation of reports/updates with minimal guidance from the marketers. Should be able to scope, assign, and review the work products. You will analyze information, spot exceptions or trends, and conduct required follow-up. Should be team-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple activities and competing demands simultaneously

Key job responsibilities include:

· Understand, manage, and independently deliver on research requirements - gather and synthesize and business specific information to develop key insights

· Leverage established tools to explore new methodologies and marketing approaches to support business decisions

· Guide and coach analysts on project execution to meet Turn Around Time (TAT) and quality

· Support U.S. marketers with standard marketing templates and tools and provide custom support to aid in developing marketing plans and strategies

· Comprehend business specific marketing plans and other necessary information (based on industry issues and associated client needs) to develop deliverables for relationship-building

· Day-to-day responsibility for collaborating with the Assistant Manager, overseeing/communicating the workflow of the team and ensuring the team has access to adequate resources and bandwidth to support work request.

· General project management - Maintain and update marketing databases and systems

· Develop marketing newsletters, support events, and curate content for internal and external communications

· Work with other team members, through effective project management and active knowledge development and sharing, to achieve common team goals.

The team

The Marketing Strategy & Planning (MS&P) team is part of the broader Market Development group. The USI MS&P team supports Strategic Marketing Planners (SMPs) in developing and implementing a business-wide marketing strategy and plan across industries, regions, and functions. The team provides a wide range of services, which help the SMPs and Partners, Principals, and Directors (PPDs) expand client relationships and build Deloitte’s presence and reputation in the market. It develops research-based insights through company and executive profiles, newsletters, event placemats, research material, competitive intelligence, and marketing brochures to equip leadership teams drive strategic initiatives and win business for the firm.
