Independently manage e-billing process involving management of billing legal services vendors, financial/budgeting processes, ensuring legal vendor service delivery, including implementing alternative fee arrangements where possible to bring greater visibility and predictability to legal spend, and ownership of department e-billing technology (including first line support)..
• Lead the law firm and third-party vendor management programs with the aim of reducing spend, maximizing value, and improving predictability, all while improving the quality of outside legal representation.
• Provide legal matter management support for the organization (e.g., e-billing, opening legal matters, communications with outside counsel, etc.)
• Manage law firm and vendor engagement, on-boarding documentation and set-up in the e-billing system. • Maintain and update the e-billing tool, as necessary, with respect to opening matters, granting security access, creation of credentials, closing matters, organizational structure, access security, approval routing and accounting codes etc.
• Serve as a single point of contact for all e-billing support and vendor relations, including troubleshooting issues related to the matter management platform on behalf of division, franchise and outside legal personnel.
• Work with legal team to track legal spend, audit invoices, and discuss budgeting requirements
. • Work with the Legal Team, billing coordinators and/or outside counsel to address engagement, billing and accounting processes, including accuracy, completeness and compliance with billing procedures and guidelines.
• Generate reports with respect to legal spend data as well as comparative industry benchmarks
• Maintain fee agreements and engagement letters with all outside counsel to ensure rates, costs and payment terms are reasonable, accurate and current..

Minimum requirements
