Your Role and Responsibilities

Technical Specialists in this job role will have expertise in analyzing and translating business requirements into control objectives, design security controls and implement them along with a security management cycle. Security specialists assist in finding the proper balance between enabling and securing in relation to the client’s organization, culture and ecosystem. Typical examples of the deliverables include asset classification models, risk analysis reports, information security policies, security solution scenarios, implementation plans, organization models, procedures, security services, security effectiveness evaluation reports and security awareness workshops. Technical Specialists who apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions. Individuals who are part of Support typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and critical client situations.

• Take ownership and manage projects that vary in size and scope depending on requirements for teams enabling Continuous Integration and automation of service integration, delivery, and deployments.
• Build & set up test automation and pipeline frameworks in OpenShift and/or Kubernetes environments
• Design and develop deployment automation methods for services running in Virtual Machines or Containers using open-source technologies at scale
• Continually improve systems and processes with regard to automation and monitoring
• Coordinate with datacenter operations personnel
• Foster an environment that enables teams to do things correctly, quickly, consistently and with less effort and learning

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3-5 years of Strong, deep knowledge of Linux computer operating systems.
• Very solid understanding of OS security apllying concepts.
• Intermediate to advanced programming and scripting abilities in multiple languages, which must include the bourne shell.
• Requires a background working as an IT security engineer, in a highly security environment
• Experience with software compliance management, vulnerability detection, and remediation

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Prometheus database and Grafana dashboarding experience developing centralized configuration code
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
