Roles and Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement: Engaging with customers to understand their needs, providing product information, and offering guidance on furniture and interior design choices.
2. Sales Generation: Actively promoting products, persuading customers to make purchases, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
3. Product Knowledge: Developing a deep understanding of the furniture and interior products available in the store, including their features, benefits, and pricing.
4. Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Consultation and Design Assistance: Assisting customers in selecting appropriate furniture pieces and offering suggestions for interior design concepts that align with their preferences and requirements.
6. Order Processing: Managing the sales process, including taking orders, verifying product availability, coordinating delivery or installation schedules, and ensuring accurate billing and payment collection.
7. Visual Merchandising: Maintaining appealing and well-organized product displays, ensuring the store's visual aesthetics are attractive and align with current interior design trends.
8. Market Research: Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to provide insights that contribute to the store's sales strategies and product selection.
9. Follow-up and After-sales Support: Following up with customers after purchases to ensure their satisfaction, handling product returns or exchanges, and assisting with any after-sales service or support needs.
10. Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing long-term relationships with customers, architects, designers, contractors, and other industry professionals to drive repeat business and referral opportunities.
