Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who is competitive, trustworthy and has excellent communication skills, who can help us to build up our business activities in local markets. Sales Manager responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction nationally.
Basically we have agricultural and hygiene based products. The SM shall have to deal in fruits, vegetables, other agricultural products etc. whereas detergent powder, cakes, dish wash bars & liquid, toilet cleaner, phenyl etc. in hygiene products.
Sales Executive Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and increasing sales of your companys products
• displaying the uses of the commodities and affectivity of the services of the company to the national clients
• Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
• Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
• Servicing the needs of your existing customers
• Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
• Setting sales targets for individual reps and your team as a whole
• Recruiting and training sales staff if required
• Allocating areas to sales representatives
• Developing sales strategies and setting targets
• Developing and enhancing different creative selling plans and programs and implementing them to step up the sales of all the commodities and services when they are set up in the company
• Formulating the annual, half yearly, monthly and weekly reports of the sales profits of the establishment
• Monitoring your team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets
• Compiling and analyzing sales figures
• Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
• Collecting customer feedback and market research
• Reporting to senior managers
• Keeping up to date with products and competitors
Educational Qualifications & Skills Required
The sales manager should have a Master's degree in Business Management or Business Administration. He/she needs to have about five years of working expertise as well. Apart from these, he/she needs to be a smart talker and should have the ability to impress and attract clients.
He/she also needs to have very good technical and specialized skills alongside being very familiar with the commodities and services of the company. He/she must remain updated about the latest technological developments in the field of the marketing commodities and services. Also, knowing other languages, especially of the target market locations would be considered an asset to the establishment that recruits him/her. Education Required
• Having an MBA would be very apt for this position and would be preferred over the bachelor's degree. Should have a good understanding of marketing strategies and sales management.
