Research Intern - Hydroponics Fresher's job

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop a system and time schedule for planting vegetables, herbs, and other plants.
• Oversee and maintenance of hydroponic equipment and greenhouse, ordering of necessary equipment and seeds, and maintain accurate records and propagation journals.
• To oversee the crops to obtain vegetables by applying hydroponic techniques with the required quality and in compliance with all established health and safety regulations.
• To prepare nutritional and balanced water-soluble solutions that contain all the essential chemical elements for plant development, including nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, etc.
• To verify that plants' air to water ratio is balanced, with the aim of avoiding aeration problems and excess oxygenation.
• To supervise and control the growth of the plants grown using hydroponic techniques.
• To carry out research tests on hydroponic crops in greenhouses and open spaces
• To interpret technical data used to perform their tasks.
• To install the different components of a hydroponics system

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Freshers/Experienced with B.Tech/MSc in Agriculture/Horticulture.
• Candidates in their final year of study can also apply.

Preferred Skills

• Enthusiastic agriculturist having knowledge to raise plant under hydroponics technology and ability to understand plant pest and diseases problem for organic solution.
• Proficiency in listening, speaking, and reading English language and can read and write research articles based on hydroponics knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office software
