Job Description: Manager- Reporting & Analytics

The Job Involves:

  • Providing Strategic, Analytic & Reporting support to Global Service Centers and S&L across regions.
  • Proficient in providing SAP Reports, Spend Analysis, Supplier Profiling & Internal SLA MIS reporting.
  • To validate and provide insights on the Spend Opportunity Assessment and help/support with data for category and regional negotiations & strategic decisions.
  • Competent in Analysis & Judgment, Customer Relationship Management, BI tools & Microsoft Suite. Should have sufficient Supply Chain knowledge.
  • Set an example and drive operational discipline, including evaluating the team overall performance and recommended next steps for further implementation.
  • Manage, coach and develop team members
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance
  • Preparation of reports and presentations included high-level executive summaries
  • Have a continuous improvement mind-set
  • Closely work with Internal and External stakeholders in order to calibrate/support & execute the Analytics & Reporting activities within Global Service Centre’s and S&L.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide guidance to the team for ongoing & adhoc reports
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Evaluate company’s strategy and growth potential; develop process, operations and all initiatives for growth of organizations within the time frame with quality.
  • Accountable for managing the spend database for entire organization and provide Strategic,
  • Analytic & Reporting support to Global Service Centers and S&L across regions.

Job Qualification

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages
  • Knowing how to turn the data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
  • Knowledge of ERP system, statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc) is preferable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings to global teams
  • At least 3-5 years of people management experience in the past.
  • Undergraduate degree is required.
  • Graduate degree, Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.
