Program Officer

Program Implementation:

• Ensuring quality training with blended learning on Quest App and MPL (mobile phone library)
  

• Taking responsibility for effective training delivery by ensuring blended learning session plans are in place for each of the NSTI trainers, activities are delivered according to the work plan and reviews are held with each team periodically.
  

• Lead on identifying and evaluate potential risks related to project delivery and its impact and take necessary steps to mitigate them
  

• Visit their centers to support the team with curriculum planning, delivery of content, etc.
  

• Ensure all Trainers/Facilitators deliver the quality training within the stipulated time-frame and they receive periodic feedback on their performance
  

• Ensure the training materials are put to effective use
  

Contributing to Industry Engagement Strategies

• Developing effective placement plan along with MyQ placement officers and ICFs
  

• Ensure that NSTI Principals and placement/training officers and key staff are regularly involved in the placement process
  

• Planning and conducting Employer engagement events.
  

• Building Industry partnerships that lead to jobs, internships, and apprenticeship for women at NSTIs
  

• Setting up of career club and placement cells, ensuring these are sustainable, led by the students committee and institute staff.
  

Relationship Management - Stakeholders (Internal and External)

• Developing effective working relationship with Institute principal, staffs, RDSDE (if any) - for smooth implementation of the project.
  

• Ensure that NSTI Principals and key staff have a clear understanding of and are regularly involved in the project.
  

• Coordinate donor visits to understand the progress of the project.
  

• Branding materials are put to effective use
  

Participate and contribute to the Training of Trainers (TOTs)

• Identify training needs
  

• Support with the Coordination of the training
  

• Facilitate sessions as and when required during ToTs
  

• Coordinate with the Placement team and facilitate the training for the Placement officers
  

Documentation and Reporting

• Lead the data management of NSTIs
  

• Ensure all the relevant data is available on time
  

• Ensure the monitoring tools are understood by the team and is used for reporting
  

• Support the M&E focal point with baseline, end line, and other relevant assessments
  

• Submit all the relevant monitoring reports on time
  

• Ensure the program process is documented and enough case studies are in place to show the impact or progress of the program.
  

• Ensure the data is analyzed and feeds into the planning and review meeting
  

• Support all reporting requirements such as quarter reviews, annual reviews
  

Team Management:

• Provide leadership and high-quality performance management to a team of Trainers and Facilitators, empowering them to deliver to a high standard.
  

• Conduct periodic performance management meetings and reviews as per the requirement
  

• Ensure that the team works together to share learning and to exchange skills
  

Support any other activities related to My QUEST Program whenever needed

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work/Rural Management or other development disciplines, with 3-5 years of work experience preferably in the Education/Vocational Training sector
  

• Good communication skills in English and the regional language
  

• Ability to draft compelling reports grounded in data
  

• Ability to train facilitators and youths for the vocational training program
  

• Candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
  

• Knowledge of issues in vocational training space and the social development sector in India.
  

• Proficient in MS Office tools
