Key job responsibilities
As a Product Manager for Value Added Services (VAS) your key job responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the product vision for VAS experiences
  • Derive insights on new conveniences which will ensure optimal product life time usage
  • Derive insights on new customer trends & preferences for product life time services
  • Own VAS features end-to-end, for both new and existing capabilities, evaluating them for hygiene gaps and changes needed
  • Define product feature scope and draft business requirements for new builds, as well as for iterative improvements for existing VAS features
  • Manage tech engagement with VAS Tech and other related stakeholders, including roadmap & sprint planning
  • Work with category, program, operations and other key business teams (and POCs) to build inclusive user stories & hence comprehensive features, and aid with launch of new product capabilities
  • Evangelize IN VAS capabilities to WW stakeholders and leverage them WW for common problem statements

A day in the life

A day in the life of a Product Manager at IN VAS generally comprises of:

  • Drive insights on customer pain points and/or opportunity areas by working with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders (Category, Program, Operations, User Experience/Research, Tech, Brands, Seller, etc.)
  • Ideate on customer problems and define end-to-end product vision for the same, with proposed solution approach
  • Engage with tech team POCs (SDEs, SDMs, TPMs, QAEs) to discuss new feature details, or seek updates on ongoing projects
  • Work on Go-To-Market (GTM) plans and launch product features

The IN Value Added Services (VAS) team enhances trust for customers on A.in by offering a portfolio of service conveniences across the product life-time; for HCTP (High Consideration Technical Products) like Mobiles, Laptops, TVs, Appliances, etc.

The IN Value Added Services (VAS) Product team is at the center of conceptualizing & building solutions from scratch to help solve customers' after-purchase & affordability needs, and then scaling them; by working with multiple business (category, product, finance, etc.) and tech teams in IN & other WW locales.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in product management
  • MBA from a reputed institute
  • Proficient in Excel and SQL
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects
  • Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
  • Strong analytic skills with experience using qualitative and quantitative research to develop product strategies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical fluency: Comfort understanding and discussing technology concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities: Effectively communicates with technical and non-technical teams, executive management, partners and customers
