Procurement Executive

We are urgently looking for a Procurement Executive with 2-3 years of work experience.

1. Identify the procurement requirements of the company on an ongoing basis and ensure delivery of materials as per decided timelines.

2. Sending out product enquiries and identifying reliable vendors who can supply materials as per defined specifications on time and at competitive prices

3. Getting quotations from multiple vendors, carrying out price negotiations and finalizing on vendors based on quality of material, price. delivery time and credit terms.

4. Releasing purchase orders and coordinate with vendors for on-time delivery of product samples, final products, bills etc.

5. Keeping track of material dispatched by vendors and conducting follow-ups to ensure on-time delivery.

6. Coordinating with accounts team to release payments as per credit terms.

7. Resolving any issues with vendors relating to quality, delivery time, payment etc

8. Carrying out any additional responsibilities assigned by the company.

Requirements

• Should have at least 2-3 years of experience in procurement
• Excellent communication skills and negotiating skills with suppliers
• Should be self-motivated, resourceful, proactive and independent worker
• Proficient in use of MS Office applications like Word, Excel etc
• Should be able to draft office communications
• Should be a team player and should take be ready to take ownership for one’s work
• Should be result-oriented and should be ready to work late if required
