The Communications Application Global Business Unit (CAGBU) Order & Service Management (OSM) organization is looking for talented senior software professionals to join our product development team, contributing to the OSM product including in its Cloud Native flavor and our integration into the Digital Experience for Communications (DX4C) Orchestration Cloud SaaS service. The architecture includes a mix of advanced Java, WebLogic, Oracle Database, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices, REST and Kafka and is developed using modern tools, leveraging Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS) and using Agile practices.

Profile sought:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 7+ years of commercial application software development
• 7+ years Java development. Java EE experience is very desirable
• Experience with relational database systems
• Thorough mastery of modern development tools (source code repos, IDEs, test tools, etc) and best software practices (e.g., design, testing, quality, security, performance)
• Experience with Oracle OSM or competitors or integration of other fulfillment products into CRM systems would be a great asset
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A proven team player, self-starting and good communication skills

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
