Physician Assistant- Oncology Fresher's job

Roles and Responsibilities

• Serves as a health information resource for patients and families.
• Performs therapeutic procedures by administering injections, suturing, managing wounds and infections.
• Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
• Obtain, compile and record patient medical data, including health history, progress notes and results of physical examination.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of technicians and technical assistants.
• All decisions & clinical plan should be updated and reported to the consultant.

OP

• Explain the procedures and hospital protocols to the patients and attenders.
• Help the physician during examination and procedures.

IP

• Rounds with consultant/Attending on Call.
• Keep follow ups for treatment, investigation report etc.
• Counsel /guide the patient and attenders as per requirement.
• Co-ordination with ward sisters, patient and consultant.
• Assist the surgeries if necessary
