Roles and Responsibilities

1.Conduct preliminary assessments of physician's new and follow-up clinic patients.

2.Write admission notes and orders for physician's patients admitted into the hospital.

3.Write outpatient orders, including those for chemotherapy, IV fluids, transfusions, growth factors, etc.

4.Assist with physician's clinic-related paperwork.

5.Assist with physician's miscellaneous clinic activities.

6.Screen patients' telephone calls and refer to physician when appropriate.
