PFT Technician

• Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Monitor patient's physiological responses to procedure, such as vital signs, and consult with physician if adverse reactions occur.
• Work as part of a team of physicians, nurses and other health care professionals to manage patient care. .
• Clean, test and maintain respiratory procedure equipment.
• Perform sleep and pulmonary function testing
• Assisting for Bronchoscopy
• To receive the patient/attendant, interact, guide and provide accurate information to find the correct consultant.
• Fix appointment for sleep studies and bronchoscopies manually.
• After the consultation guide the patient for further investigations (i.e. pft, bronchoscopy, sleep study, lab investigations & radiology procedures) and to the referred consultants.
• Ensures that OP/IP bills are raised properly.
• Provide Education to the patients regarding hospital rights and responsibilities.
• Complete the work at the right time which is assigned by superiors.
