Since July 2022 ekaterra is managing it owns internal People and Operations (HR) services. We now have a strong, fun, and growing team in place who are providing HR services for all our employees across the globe. For this team we are looking for an independent, operationally strong, pro-active and solution-oriented People & Operations team manager. You’ll work with the team and all the P&O colleagues in the various countries to create an excellent, efficient and flawless employee experience for any of the day-to-day HR activities.
It is likely that we will outsource these activities in 2023. In this role you will therefore be the HR operations lead in the current set up and support an excellent transition to our outsourced service provider.
Your Key Responsibilities
In this role you will:
Lead the team of 10 P&O specialists (6-8 based in Bangalore, 2 in the Netherlands). You will provide inspiration, motivation, day to day support on cases and queries, advice, coaching and a point of contact for all your P&O colleagues worldwide. You will ensure this team is the best team ever.
Find ways to improve the employee experience. Increase speed, accuracy, efficiency and communication with employees and P&O colleagues. Ensure all SLA’s are met and AHT are continuously improved.
Connect with any cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our end-to-end processes and systems are well connected and therefore supportive of an efficient and excellent employee experience
Lead in creating and updating all relevant documents related to P&O operations (Process flows, work instructions, training materials), working closely with the respective P&O country contacts.
Be strongly involved in a flawless transition to our outsourced service provider in 2023. Lead on document creation, training, cut-over activities and hypercare.

Stakeholder Management and key interfaces:
You will report directly to the Employee Experience Director. In this role you will also have 10 team members reporting directly into you
Work closely with cross-functional business stakeholders with a dotted reporting line to the ekaterra Global Business Services Director.
Work closely with any relevant ekaterra project teams, specific those involved in the HR transitions of outsourcing services and implementation of technology changes.
Your team members are there first point of contact for the country P&O colleagues. You will provide general data & reporting to the responsible regional P&O leads and act as escalation point.
Skills and Experience
Experience in leading team members at a middle or senior manager level in an HR Services environment. Strong proven people management skills. Ability to coach, motivate, inspire, challenge and develop direct team members
Business acumen to balance employee experience with efficiency, costs, simplicity in alignment with the ekaterra business strategy
Strong analytical skills. Big-picture thinker, confident in taking strategic, data-driven decisions for the better good of ekaterra.
Demonstrated project management and change management skills at leadership level
Good communicator. Able to engage with stakeholders across all levels and cultures. Proven ability to influence and maintain constructive relationship with those stakeholders
Independent problem solver. Comes with an analysis of the problem, a proposal for solutions and can take a leading role to implement the preferred solution or improvement
Flexible, can easily adapt to new situations and change way of working accordingly. Can deal with uncertainty and contributes in providing clarity and ways forward.
Knowledge of an experience with working with HR systems (workday and ServiceNow are a pre), processes, policies, and procedures.
Experience in HR business Partnering is a plus.
