Duties and Responsibilities

• Reception of patients in OT
• Checking vital records after proper undertaking of the patient
• Keep the OT clean and sterilized
• Maintain documentation in OT chart
• Follow up of Surgeons order
• Orders given by the consultants to be followed
• Providing information about patient to the concerned doctor
• Administration of drug
• Assist in positioning patients on the OT table
• Enter details of all investigation and procedures in activity chart
• Updating treatment chart as guided by the surgeon
• Wash instruments as per the instructions
• Guide helpers in transferring patients from OT table to trolleys and recovery room
• Discharge duties according to hospital protocol
• Follow any verbal orders given by the doctors
• Indenting medicines for 24 hours after checking the medicine inventory

Qualification:

Diploma in OT Technician

Minimum 2 years experience in OT scrub side ( Laproscopic surgeries, gynae surgeries , ortho surgeries , ENT surgeries ,)
