Principal Accountabilities

(A) Strategic

• Maintain the documents pertaining to the training programs.
• Regular Nursing audits and maintenance of the records.
• Participation in the Nursing quality activities.
• Assist the Nursing Administrators in achieving the organizational objectives.

(B) Operational

1. Conduct orientation program for the newly recruited staff

• Plan and organize orientation program as and when needed.
• Make the arrangements for the physical set up.
• Coordinate with the faculty of the program and conduct the program.
• Maintain documents of the program.

2. Plan, implement and evaluate clinical teaching/ incidental teaching and in service teaching

• Plan a topic for the teaching.
• Conduct teaching by coordinating with the ward supervisor, Team Leader and the staff nurse.
• Arrange physical set up for the program.
• Evaluate the staff learning before and after the teaching.
• Supervise the nursing staff in the clinical areas.
• Provide incidental bedside teaching to the staff nurses and take return demonstration for the same.
• Participation in the Nursing Quality activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

P.B.Sc/ B.Sc Degree in Nursing recognized by Nursing council of India. Must be registered with State/Indian Nursing council.

Preferable: M.sc /BLS/ACLS would be preferred.

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a Super/Multi Specialty hospital.
