Core Responsibilities
- Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards and protocols
- Assist the doctors in complex invasive line insertion like IABP, central line, endotracheal intubation, tracheostomy, etc.
- Monitors and adjusts specialized equipments used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays, such as intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, and cardiac rhythms from cardiac monitors, respirators, ventilators, manometers, etc.
- Monitors catheters, leads and tubing for proper placement and functioning.
- Implements the care bundles and document them
- Implements the quality assurance programme of critical care.
- Takes care of all dying patients, maintains seriousness and accompanies every dead body to the mortuary
- Maintains continuity of care through clear and concise verbal and written communication with all departments, internal and external customers
General Responsibilities
- Introduction to patient and attendant
- Medication Administration
- Patient Feeding
- Attending Call bells
- Vitals checking and recording
- Maintains effective communication with the patient and relatives
- Accompany Doctors in patient rounds and carry out doctors instructions
- Order for Lab & Radiology Investigations, medicine, diet and other orders
- Patient Hygiene and position changing
- Maintaining Bowel and bladder pattern
- Accompanying patient during shifting (between Ward to ICU/OT/Investigations).
- Preparing patient for surgery and shifting to OT.
- Receiving and giving post OP care.
- Assisting Doctor in bed side procedures/dressing.
- Nursing Documentation.
- Hand over/take over.
- Sample Collection and report follow up.
- Administrative- Monitoring Departmental Inventory/Equipment Check.
Cleaning and Disinfection of Patient Care Article(Monitor, steth, SPO2 Monitor, Thermometer BP Apparatus, Glucometer, Pulse oximeter, ECG Machine etc.)
Note:-
- No interviews on Public Holiday or Sunday
- Timings for face to face interviews from 10am to 2pm.
- Nursing Valid registration is preferred
- 1 - 6years experience can consider
