Key Roles
- Focus on increasing the sales in the designated category.
- Coordinate with all the stores on a daily basis and push the team to drive the category.
- Work in parallel with the back end team.
- Create reports and report to the management any growth ideas for the category.
- Work with the VM team in increasing the category visibility.
- Analyse the sales trend in the category store wise and replenish the stock accordingly in the stores.
- Research the category extensively in seeing the trends consumer want and what competition carries and source with the buying team accordingly.
- Assortment Planning : Regional, National, International
- Follow up with vendors on Promotions, Pricing, Inventory
- Ensure Promotions working as per agreed vendor funding
- Closely work with Replen team for Planning Inventory, Promotional Stocks
- Pricing : Maintain Pricing as per approved guidelines at respective FC, RFC
- Marketing Inputs : Provide Marketing Inputs as Per Marketing Calendar, Buying Cycles, Seasonal Change
- Identify Cross Selling and Upselling oppurtunities.
- KVI Price Benchmarking : Closely review Price Benchmarking reports and ensure pricing is at par and not beaten.
- 13. Weekly Presentation of D-30/D-60 Plans for assigned Categories.
- 14. Annual Budgeting Exercise.
Key Qualities
- Strong Excel, Power Point, Knowledge of Data Analytics will be added advantage
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Proven analytical skills and highly comfortable with numbers
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing and speaking skills
- Excellent relationship builder with strong positive attitude
- Ability to both plan and execute
- Challenge and negotiate with partners where required while maintaining positive relationships
- Work within a dynamic environment and balance multiple priorities
- Capable of excelling in a changing environment
Responsibilities
- Manage the end to end execution of planning the category growth MOM and identify the opportunities to increase the sales.
- Manage multiple stores together.
- Manage the costs involved in planning the sales and merchandising the product at the stores.
Qualifications
- Prior industry related experience is helpful especially retail.
- Retail industry knowledge is a must.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven knowledge and execution of successful category growth.
- Focused and goal-oriented
- Should be a hustler and be ready to take challenges.
- Employment Type- Full Time
- CTC- As per market standards + travel + commissions.
- Reporting to the AVP.
