General
- Role purpose & Key accountabilities: These should define the core requirements, core focus and core accountability level of the role, and should not list individual role tasks.
- Scope: Detail of team/reports and revenue or budget accountability should only show the scope the role is directly and fully accountable for. E.g. if the role does not itself own a given budget, then that budget should not be reflected in the role profile.

Job Responsibilities
Provide input for Material Requirement Planning / Vendor Scheduling process,
Proactively communicate/escalate to the management team potential MPS issues/constraints to trigger preventive actions in order to mitigate supply failure risk,
Support operations in monitoring manufacturing output/performance against the schedule/plan, challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from standard,
Support Programme Management in analysing Inventory levels in order to optimize/challenge current status and search for improvement opportunities,
Provide communication/feedback to Programmes in case of any potential supply issues and also in order to improve Forecast accuracy,
Liaise with Programmes to support and coordinate all production schedules related new programme launch/prototyping activities,
Ensure relevant KPI’s are monitored and PDCA approach applied with A3 in case of deviation to ensure targets are delivered in a sustainable way (e.g.: Master Schedule Adherence, Customer Past Dues, Days Inventory Outstanding),
Depending on the size of the site, all of the above activities are also performed at Operations Supply Planning level and covering the 36 months horizon.
Support continuous improvement projects/activities,
Support Operations in the analysis of Master Schedule Adherence,
Ensure system Master Data is up to date for all planning and scheduling purposes
Job Qualifications
- Minimum GCSE / Secondary Education
- Early career graduate for MPS lead roles
- APICS CPIM Part1
- Expert level for: Operations Supply Planning / MPS / MRP
- Practitioner level for Forecasting & Demand Planning, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Mgt., Inventory Management, Internal Flow & Warehousing+ “soft skills” from leadership framework
- Graduate level
Entry level for Strategic Planning, Transportation Management, Inbound / Outbound Flow, End-to-End visibility and data exchange, Industry & Product acumen, Project Management, Leveraging IT solutions, Lean Mind-set & Business Excellence, People Excellence, Business Process Excellence, Operations Excellence
