MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

I&A’s Operations Hub located in Bangalore & Manila has a team comprising of more than 300 Data Experts entrusted to deliver information & analytics at scale through a team of specialists who are accountable for delivering standard report packs, interactive reports with enhanced visualizations and insights on data. The services from this team are consumed right up to the highest level in the Unilever business and hence demands the highest levels of quality and timeliness.
JOB SUMMARY
- Translating Sustainable Business requirements into the design of end-to-end global information solutions spanning source transaction systems through to data modelling, data warehouses, master data and front-end tools such as Power BI designing compelling formats and insightful user journeys.
- Leading and project managing the build, test and global deployment of such E-2-E information solutions, managing and co-ordinating a large global network of cross-functional internal and external teams including IT, Process, Master data, Operations, etc. plus lead Steer Co meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Product owner responsible for design and successful implementation for all Sustainable business information requests in all Sustainable Business data warehouses from requests such as Plastics Recyclability to USLP as approved by the Steer Co.
- Maintain and drive continuous improvement across all live platforms and products and ensure service levels are available, monitored and met.
- Management and development of a virtual team across geography.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 12 years’ experience built up over a number of Information Management roles in a large multi-category and multi-geography company with direct experience or knowledge of Sustainable Business an advantage.
- Experience in translating business requirements into the design of end-to-end global and local information solutions spanning source transaction systems through to data modelling, data warehouses and front-end tools such as Power BI designing compelling formats and insightful user journeys.
- Experience in leading and project managing the build, test and global deployment of such E-2-E information solutions, managing and co-ordinating a large global network of cross-functional internal and external teams including IT, Process, Master data, country business, etc. plus lead Steer Co meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Information management skills including business analysis, data and information modelling, designing insightful and compelling formats and user journeys on business performance.
- Skills in the design, construction and maintenance of front-end tools such as Power BI with a strong working knowledge of data warehousing.
- Strong business partnering skills with the ability to communicate with senior managers, plus negotiation and influencing skills.
- Project management skills including the ability to lead and co-ordinate a global network of managers / stakeholders, both internal and external to deliver global projects OTIF.
- Leadership skills.
- The candidate will possess the confidence and stature to assume a leadership position in driving key thrusts of the department. A strong intellect and business acumen combined with good interpersonal skills would be required, as well as attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
- Experience in people management and development of a virtual team across geography.
