Purpose of the role:
To contribute to the CPO Market Access strategy, conform to internal & external pricing regulations (Drug Price Control Order). To develop and implement pricing strategies, tactics and frameworks for assigned therapeutic areas to maximise business impact. Manage RMP approval and governance process for the country. Drive the pricing governance set up in collocation with other stakeholders such as Finance, KAM, Legal and Commercial teams. Drive data & digital interventions to support optimal pricing decisions & price management solutions. Liaise with various internal stakeholders to manage queries from NPPA/Other Govt. stakeholders with respect to pricing

Your responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Drive pricing as a strategic lever to maximise asset value – manage pricing along with key internal stakeholders
• Comply with external pricing requirements – IPDMs filings to NPPA per DPCO
• Comply with Internal pricing requirements – PricePro management, RMP management, price change calendar etc.
• Identify and apply insights into anticipated pricing changes in the healthcare and regulatory environment, the market and customer needs.
• Support development and implementation of sustainable MA brand strategies & operational plans in close collaboration across functions and in alignment with the overall CPO patient access strategy for launch and/or in-market products.
• NPPA query management: liaise with various internal stakeholders to manage queries from NPPA/Other Govt. stakeholders with respect to pricing
• Pricing risk management: Drive the pricing governance set up in collocation with other stakeholders such as Finance, KAM, Legal and Commercial teams
• Lead Implementation of Digital price governance solution. Support pricing audits (Internal/External) with respect to conformity to pricing governance

Minimum requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:
• University degree in Science and/or degree in Business
• Marketing/Business Studies
• MBA preferred
• Relevant experience (3-7 years) in sales/marketing management positions within the pharmaceutical industry
• Good understanding of country, regional and local dynamics, including regulatory and market environments
• Understanding of product launch and product commercialization processes
