Responsibility:
Process Advisory & Best practice Evangelization:
-
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Facilitate selection of suitable life cycle processes for project execution, in organization tools and platforms, according to the project situation.
- Facilitate Implementation of appropriate Estimation Methodologies.
- Define/Refine new processes for the services to be delivered by the project.
- Facilitate timely conduct of Project KickOff, Project Startup Audit and Project Transition/Knowledge Transfer.
- Facilitate customization and implementation of organization tools for the applicable projects, along with integration with customer tools and processes.
- Enable implementation of all lifecycle processes including Planning and Tracking, Configuration and Change Control Mechanisms and Knowledge Management.
- Enable Best Practices Evangelization across the assigned portfolio leveraging Know Hub / DE Repositories.
- Identify/ guide/ implement initiatives and provide effective solutions based on insights.
Product & Service Quality Assurance:
:
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Take proactive steps to train and enable project teams on the appropriate service line specific frameworks, tools, activities, templates, checklists available to be followed at different stages of the project life cycle.
- Facilitate project teams to adopt and effectively use appropriate engineering excellence frameworks such as codenizant, tools such as CAST, SAST as applicable.
- Gather inputs on relevant engineering interventions required for projects and coordinate with other Delivery Excellence teams such as IndustrializeAudit clusters, Technology CoEs etc, to help arrange for technical audits / enablement on the same as appropriate.
Delivery Performance Improvement:
:
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Take proactive steps to train and enable project teams on appropriate metrics management in projects and High Maturity Practices.
- Ensure project teams adopt and effectively use appropriate benchmarks, report metrics data in organization tools as required and adopt high maturity practices effectively.
- Facilitate Quality of Service (QoS) Implementation.
- Facilitate effective Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for Delivery Performance.
Delivery Risk Exposure Prevention:
:
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Collaborate with audit teams on audit planning and tracking.
- Take proactive steps to train and enable project teams on doing effective Risk assessment in projects.
- verify mitigation/contingency plans.
- Connect and collaborate with other horizontal DE Enable teams to get a unified account picture on risks and escalations and report the same to Delivery Leadership as required.
- Perform Risk Analysis and report High Risks that need attention of the Delivery and Delivery Excellence leadership as per organization defined guidelines and periodicity.
- Facilitate closure of Deliverability Assessment action items.
Continual Service Improvement:
:
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Enable project teams to understand the concept, process and workflow of Continual Service Improvement (CSI) and the CSI portal.
- Enable the projects to identify customer focused, relevant and appropriate improvement themes and help the projects as required in implementation reviews and closure.
- Review CSI themes at applicable stages in the Continual Service Improvement process.
- Ensure all applicable projects implement Continual Service Improvement (CSI) effectively as per organization guidelines.
- Highlight status, issues / risks / challenges to Delivery and Delivery Excellence leadership as required.
Customer Experience Management:
:
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Help the accounts during customer visits by representing Delivery Excellence team and effectively articulating the Delivery excellence frameworks of Cognizant and their value proposition to the customer, as applicable within the agenda of the visit.
- Understand the customer reporting needs if any that needs Delivery Excellence support and help evolve an appropriate process for the same, implement it across the account and help satisfy the customer reporting need effectively.
- Facilitate projects in working on root cause analysis for escalations to determine corrective and preventive actions for the same.
Deployment of industry frameworks, standards & models:
:
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Understand the regulatory compliance, external / customer audits / assessments that the account has to go through and help them by:.
- Provide them with expert suggestions, best practices, guidelines, templates, processes etc,.
- Help the accounts in planning for the assessment / audit / certification.
- Help the projects in preparing for the assessment / audit / certification through trainings, facilitations, reviews and mock audits by industrialize audit teams as required.
- Represent Delivery Excellence teams in the assessment / audit / certification as required.
- Work with the account and project stakeholders to come up with corrective / preventive action plan for gaps / issues and govern their implementation.
- Highlight issues / risks / challenges to Delivery and Delivery Excellence leadership as required.
Delivery Governance & Reporting:
:
- Ensure that for the Accounts for which the DE Enabler is responsible, the following is done for applicable projects:.
- Drive Governance at Account / Program / Project levels for Category 1,Category 2 and Category 3 projects including Project Management Reviews (PMRs), Service Management Reviews (SMRs).
- Facilitate Implementation of all applicable Delivery Excellence activities, Transformation Levers / Programs, Service Line, Business Unit Strategic Programs.
- Strategic Initiative givernance & reporting.
