IN THIS ROLE, THE BUSINESS ANALYST IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DELIVERING DATA FLOWS, SYSTEM AND PROCESS CONTROLS ASSESSMENT CURRENT STATE AND ASSESS THE EFFECTIVES OF THE CONTROLS BY WORKING WITH DIFFERENT SME/BUSINESS PROCESS OWNERS AS DIRECTED BY THE PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver reports, design documentation, results analysis, and proposals for approval.
• Function as a Single Point of Contact for business & IT teams to ensure that proper requirements are elicited.
• Functioning as an overlay of existing technical and domain experts and applying disciplined business and solution management skills
• Be focused on the Risk Controls aspect for a given process or SoR or business group
• Bring about the realities and pain points along with best practices and solutions of Banking and Financial Services industry and know how to solve these using technology.

QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK IN YOU!

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Commerce, Engineering or related field
• Run workshops with business stakeholders to capture business requirements
• Experience of working with business SME’s and product owners to understand the current controls landscape and measure its effectiveness and document the same
• Worked in an Agile delivery model, must have experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence
• Curiosity is a must. Questioning the controls and evaluating the efficacy of its effectiveness is key to bring in best outcome for the project

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance or Commerce
• Understanding and working knowledge on data governance – lineage, Data quality, etc. is an added advantage
• Excellent understanding of financial markets
• Stakeholder Management
• Presenting and facilitation
