Liaison and coordination with various Government officials for follow up of our applications in different Government departments. Relationship Building.
Areas Of Responsibility
Broad Description: Liaison and coordination with NPPA (National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority)Liaison and coordination with Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) - Ministry of Chemicals & FertilizersLiaison and coordination with Ministry of Commerce / DGFTLiaison and coordination with various industry Associations and Chambers (ASSOCHAM, FICCI, PHD, CII )Liaison and coordination with different EmbassiesRelevant Policy Tracking and advocacyMiscellaneous Detailed Description: NPPA :Handling various issues with respect to Product pricing, price applications, price monitoring issues and alleged overcharging, if any.Further strengthen relationships.Pro-active information for the meetings, and preparation thereof with in house resources.Periodical (fortnightly) update to the reporting authority on all NPPA related issues.Handling all issues related to Policy, pricing, etc.Handling review cases (para 31) and personal hearingsRepresenting organization in meetingsAssist in preparation of writ petition; remain updated on development of various Court cases at different High Courts and Supreme Court. Ministry of Commerce/ DGFT:Representing and attending all issues related to Sun Pharma/ Industry.Regular update to our internal departments on various policies - Exports related issues, Reports, meetings, etc.To liaise and coordinate with Ministry of Commerce to resolve bottleneck issues to facilitate and enhance export.Responding to communications received from Ministry of Commerce seeking feedback / data Industry Associations / Chambers:Responding to communications received from various associations seeking data/ details, mobilizing internal resources for gathering the required information and dataRepresenting/ Attending meetings, providing inputs on industry issues in coordination with internal teamRepresentation on PoliciesRepresentations on our issues/ industry issues.Keep updated with industry developments and updating the same to reporting authorityRepresenting organization for Industry Awards EmbassiesLegalization/Apostille of documents.Relationship Management with key Officials in various Embassies Other Ministries/ Departments where we have episodic work Indian Patent OfficeMinistry of Corporate AffairsAssignments of our associate companiesDepartment of RevenueDepartment of Financial ServicesMinistry of External AffairsDepartment of Animal HusbandryMinistry of LabourSocietiesAdditional assignments added during the year /Ad hoc assignments Policy Tracking, advocacy, prior information to managementTo keep a track of likely changes in the policies ‘or’ decisions likely to be taken; its subsequent impact on the industry.Prior information of these information to the reporting Authority Relationship ManagementRelationship management with key officials in relevant Ministries and Departments.Support the business. Should be in position to take their help in case of work related exigencies.Managing availability of immediate information in case of any change in regulations.
