Candidate should be work closely with the designing, electrical engineering, control and automation teams. Developing the mechanical design of products and supporting projects, with emphasis on clever, but practical solutions to new problems. You will resolve technical issues that arise in the design and test of these concepts and follow the product through initial development and into ramp as the program requires. The ability to travel internationally to support these activities may be required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Special Purpose Machine & Automation Solutions Designing from Concept to Final Designing

Experience on Solidedge/Solidworks for Machine Design.

Shall have experience in defining SOPs for design process.

BOM Preparation, Standard Parts Selection. Knowledge & Experience in Pneumatics selection & Automation parts Selection.

Experience in Assembly Automation & Robotic Welding Automation will be a added advantage.

Sound Knowledge of GD & T, Machining Processes & Assembly Process.

Project Plan & Project Documentation.

Should able to handle team size of 7-10

Allotment of work on daily basis & building weekly schedule.

Train team members to raise their skills and expertise as per project requirement.

Prepare MIS reports & should have experience of handling client independently

Shall have experience ISO/ QS certification & implementation

Desired Candidate Profile

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar program with Mechanical bias.

Minimum 3 year experience required in machine design (SPM)
