To develop and maintain laboratory quality management systems as per ISO 15189:2012 &

to ensure the implementation of the laboratory quality management system.

• To co-ordinate the quality activities within the laboratory.
• To plan and coordinate the audit & review activities of the laboratory
• Assuring Quality in the laboratory.
• Conducting internal audit as per schedule
• Preparing schedule for staff training.
• Preparing Quality Manual and updating it.
• Archiving all data as per regulatory requirements.
• Issuance of all the documentS,books & maintain a record of the documents as per document control SOP.
• To be responsible for the overall functioning of the lab and the reporting of all tests.
• To coordinate with lab director and management to ensure effective implementation of lab procedures/ methods and communication of lab requirements
• To guide all the lab technicians and ensure a smooth workflow to generate the reports within the designated schedule.
• To ensure that quality standards are maintained in the lab according to SOPs.
• To supervise proper running of controls and calibrations on the equipment in accordance with manufacturers guidelines.
• To ensure that adequate stock of reagents and consumables is maintained in the lab.
• To verify test results.
• To interact and communicate with physicians/ clinicians and other members of team to facilitate departmental operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Processing of Blood samples on fully automated machines in Hematology, Biochemistry, immunology, Clinical Pathology, Serology & Microbiology.
• Report generation and verification.
• Good knowledge of Quality Control and ability to troubleshoot technical errors.
• NABL documentation.
