Objective:
The purpose of this role is to support India business by developing functional capability of sales teams. The Learning Mentor is required to identify learning needs within business divisions / sales teams, design & develop training interventions to address those needs, engage with relevant stakeholders in implementation of the same, deliver classroom/virtual training, and update existing training content with the objective of improving in-clinic effectiveness & on-job performance. The position involves frequent travel within the country.
Key Responsibilities (not exhaustive):
- Centrally plan various training programs & engage with the sales team members and managers across divisions and teams, to ensure that all training related information gets exchanged & all sales team members are trained on the relevant products and skills on time.
- As a Learning Mentor for the assigned division(s), help in the continuous updating of training modules along with PMT & Medical Affairs teams to ensure all training modules are current, relevant and impactful.
- Deliver classroom / Virtual training as per the guidelines in the various training programs for new hires on the product / process / company related information, evaluate and select those who meet the standards. Training the new PSRs/SBOs about the organization, enhancing their personal effectiveness, detailed medical/scientific & product understanding, developing selling skills and conducting role plays to ensure practical application of learning on the job.
- Evaluate the participants on the prescribed parameters, follow-up & engage with participants and their managers for ongoing development & learning
- Identify, collate & analyse the learning needs of sales teams on the functional competencies, and decide on the course of action (interventions) in discussion with the team leaders
- Ensure process adherence, compliance to departmental guidelines, and promptness in the administration and day to day work.
Operating Network:
- Internal: This role will have constant interface with the Training, Sales, Business, PMT, Medical Affairs, SFE & HR Teams etc.
- External: The position needs to work with vendors / partners like hospitality staff at training venues & training material suppliers etc.
Desired Education and Experience:
- Graduate / Science (Pharmacy preferred); MBA desirable
- Min. 3-4 years of experience with in-depth understanding of pharma selling scenario; with focus on how a PSR/SBO/ASM/RSM works
- Must have completed a minimum of 2 Years in the Current Managerial Role.
