Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant – Senior Automation Quality Analyst

The ideal candidate will need to possess a strong and well-rounded technical acumen to work effectively across multiple projects. Candidate will play an important role in the implementation of Salesforce Sales & Service Clouds and work closely with our Lead Architect on the integrations to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, InContact CXOne and our other internal solutions. Our goal is to configure wherever possible we need a senior Salesforce developer to work closely with the product owner, architect and CRM administrator and provide technical leaderships and provide required support to build custom engineering development when needed. Candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting new and existing features, as well as continually expanding the capabilities of our technology solution, architecture, and supporting tooling. Agile experience and a proficiency in software development and engineering practices is required to produce superior results. This role will work collaboratively to understand the dynamics of business processes and convert business requirements into performant, high quality software. Candidate will have the ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project. He or she will contribute to our technology solution as we advance into emergent technologies and push the boundaries of software development techniques.

Responsibilities!

  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate test and automation activities independently.
  • Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Thorough understanding of validation practices and associated documentations implement them across projects.
  • Design independent manual test case as well as test automation scripts for each newly developed application.
  • Responsible for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose.
  • Perform thorough manual regression testing when technical issues are resolved and know how to automate those tests.
  • Contribute to Automation Frameworks and automate testcases ensuring comprehensive automation coverage.
  • Involved in the analysis of software, and systems, to avert risk and prevent software issues.
  • Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
  • Actively contribute and participate in daily stand-ups, and Agile Sprint planning and grooming sessions.
  • Stay up to date with new testing approaches, tools, and test strategies.

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters in relevant field of study is preferred.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience as a Software Tester
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge on Manual testing concepts such as test plan, defect life cycle, testing types and different types of testing methodologies.
  • Proficient in Selenium and Core Java and C#.
  • Experience in building and maintaining Test Automation Framework.
  • Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, Database testing and UI/UX testing.
  • Preferable knowledge on CI/CD, Jenkins, JMeter.
  • Experience in services/API testing and automation.
  • Expertise in working with XML, XSLT, and SOAP, and JSON formats.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and Dev ops with Integrating automated tests in Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience working in the Academic Services or Educational Industry.
  • Working knowledge on cloud-based application architecture and principles.
