Key Skills

1. Performs internal quality control procedures as per SOPs and monitor the daily internal Quality control and record the deviations if any.

2. Process the EQAS/ILC specimens as per schedule and initiate correction actions in case of deviation in consultation with HOD/ Designee.

3. Record the activities accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain records legible and neat.

4. Inspect the incoming samples against set acceptance and rejection criteria.

5. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing.

6. Perform the analysis of all types of biological specimen like body fluids, blood samples, urine, using automated analyzers or manual methods as per lab SOPs.

7. Maintain clean medical laboratory equipment.

8. Performs all laboratory investigations, as per in-house SOPs and working instructions.

9. Records laboratory results into the online Lab Information System (LIS) and maintain all relevant documentary entries like logbooks and work sheets.

10. Ensures preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment is done as per the defined program in the laboratory.

11. Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork in the laboratory.

12. Implements a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good practices and applicable regulations.

13. Storage & discard of examined samples as per the lab defined procedure.

14. Performs all other job-related activities assigned by Department Consultant / Lab Director
