Salary / Pay Scale: Post wise salary / pay scale details are as under –

• Junior Scientific Officer: Rajasthan 7th Pay Matrix Level 12 (Rs. 44,300/- to Rs. 1,77,500/-)
• Junior Environmental Engineer: Rajasthan 7th Pay Matrix Level 10 (Rs. 33,800/- to Rs. 1,06,700/_

Educational Qualification: Following degree holders are eligible –

• Junior Scientific Officer: M.Sc in Chemistry / Soil Science / Environmental Science / Microbiology
• Junior Environmental Engineer: B.E. / B.Tech in Bio Technology / Chemical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Mining Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Textile Engineering AND Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering

Experience (If Any): Freshers are eligible.

Age Limit: 18-40 years. The upper age limit is relaxable as per Rajasthan Government Rules.

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be through written exam which may be conducted online / offline.

The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board was constituted under section 4 of the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 on 7th February 1975, with the objectives of prevention, and control of water pollution and maintaining or restoring of wholesomeness of water[j1] . Later, it was also entrusted with the responsibilities of prevention, control and abatement of Air Pollution under the provisions of Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981.
