Job Details

The Warehouse Executive/Officer is responsible for Managing the Warehouse Operations.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily activity planning - stock, manpower, supervise picking, packing, loading, unloading,
  • Conduct documentation in WMS, E-way bill etc
  • Resolve any escalations with Branches
  • Support inventory management and warehouse organization and also update WH trackers, MIS, WMS etc, stock takes, Shelf life tracking, GIT tracking.
  • Coordination with Stakeholders ie Regional team, HO team, Branches.
  • Ensures that health and safety requirements are met and takes responsibility for the security of the building, staff and inventory,
  • Demonstrates flexibility to perform other duties and responsibilities as directed.
  • Maintain corrective action procedures posting receipts, administrative functions like storage and maintenance of all documents related to warehouse operations and accounting vouchers.
  • Create and maintain reliable reports with highly accurate information.
  • Produce and evaluate documentation pertaining to inventory to ensure a full audit trail.
  • Maintain data analysis and possess the ability to extract important information and summarize concisely and accurately in writing or orally.
  • Under limited supervision, execute order management activities. This includes, but is not limited to: order/item creation, analysis and execution of inventory management for products utilizing multiple company systems.
  • Manage the workflow of the warehouse and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • To ensure flow of merchandise through the warehouse ensuring work performance that confirms timely delivery of products.

Requirements

EDUCATIONAL / OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • B.Sc/ Bcom degree
  • 1 to 2 years experience of Small warehouse, Inventory Control and experience in working and maintaining warehouse inventory system in a Chemical, Paint, Liquid,FMCG based industry
  • Professional education, licenses and certifications should commensurate with experience level and demonstrate increasing responsibility and expertise.
  • Good verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management and software and databases.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Project), and Adobe Acrobat.
