• Greet patients and verify their identity.
• Follow safety guidelines while entering the client s premise.
• Ensuring that the patient is as comfortable and relaxed as possible and confirming their agreement to the collection of a required (specimen).
• Collection of sample(s)s of blood in accordance with training and procedures
• Accurate, legible labelling of all samples according to confirm patient identity.
• Maintain all equipment in a clean and safe manner.
• Record ECG with a portable machine along with other vital readings.
• Filling MER Forms for respective Insurance companies.
• Ensuring samples are stored in appropriate containers temperatures.
• Explain tests to patients and answer any questions they might have.
• Complete all work at client homes in accordance with guidelines requirements.
• Transport samples in a timely manner and in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
• Notifying the manager of any significant patient/ops issues.
• Liaising with and assisting people of other departments.

DMLT/ BSMLT/MLT with minimum 1 year of experience
