Government Sales Manager
As a Government Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within our government customer segment. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers, identifying opportunities for growth, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure long-term partnerships with our clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling IT solutions and services, a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, and exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the government & PSU customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts, including senior officials and procurement teams.
- Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and new business prospects.
- Conduct effective sales presentations and proposals to clients that highlight our company's solutions and services.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions to clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and closing deals.
- Utilize CRM tools to track and report on sales progress and customer interactions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and market developments.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or any related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on IT solutions and services to Government and Corporate Clients in the region.
- Track record of meeting sales targets.
- Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience selling to government and corporate customers is highly preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage sales activities.
- Willingness to travel if needed.
