We are looking for a senior engineering leader to lead the fast-growing world class engineering organization for WebXT Platform in India. As the site leader, you will be responsible for collaborating with WebXT Platform Leadership Team, Customers and Partners to shape and evolve the mission & strategy that is unique to India, hire world class engineering and product management talent in India, plans and deliver platform innovations that meets our customer and business requirements.

Web Experiences Team (WebXT) is formed to make progress on the other half of Microsoft’s mission which is to empower every person on the planet to achieve. WebXT’s goal is to make the web work for our consumers in a safe environment where every person can achieve more and thrive.

WebXT Platform innovates, builds and operates the backend infrastructure at unprecedented scale, agility and efficiency needed for WebXT services like Bing search, Ads, MSN news, Edge browser, Bing and Azure Maps, and many more consumer experiences like Shopping, Multimedia, eSports, Travels, Locals Info, Weather, etc. and serves 100s of millions of daily active users around the world with high availability and performance.

WebXT Platform is rapidly growing in India to build many parts of WebXT Platform from India (currently focused on Hyderabad & Bangalore). Our India team started working on one of the world’s largest distributed Key-Value store platform that powers Bing, M365 and Azure and rapidly expanded to other areas like Web Masters Experiences, Web Page Discovery & Selection, Web Index Safety, Frontend Platform, Microservices & Containers, Quality & Engineering Infrastructure and Hardware Capacity Utilization Insights. Our plan is to continue to expand to other areas as the team delivers on the current mission and grows and build a world class engineering organization for WebXT Platform in India.
