Engineer / Senior Engineer - NPI

CENTUM EMS The Electronics Manufacturing Services business unit addresses high-technology high-complexity products in the defence, aerospace, industrial, medical, and telecommunications segments. The offerings include Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), system integration, PCBA, test, environmental screening, and repair & return services. This team also provides mechanical solutions to various requirements in the field of plastics and sheet metal for industrial customers.

What You'll Do

• Overall responsible for new process introduction, new equipment introduction, Yield quality from start-ups.
• Responsible for process definition, critical tools/ fixtures design, and technical escalation process.
• Collaborate with Customer/Business Units on new process development and qualification; test development and stencil design, Process optimization.
• Reviewing and analyzing the customer product requirements with respect to the production capabilities, identifying the requirements and gaps.
• Collaborating with customers and program management to address the gaps and clarifications to meet the product requirements.
• Analyzing and maintaining the BOM in the ERP to enable procurement of the materials.
• Defining the manufacturing process to meet all customer requirements.
• Initiating and working with CFT to perform product FMEAs and define Control Plans.
• Identifying, defining, and procurement of all critical tools and fixtures required to realize the product.
• Prepare product-specific process Instructions for operators to ensure product realization and CTQs.
• Releasing and maintaining all customer/product documents to document control in order to enable structured and easy access.
• Leading the qualification process during the proto build and ensuring the customer requirements are met on the product.
• Identify the gaps in proto building and improve the efficiency of the product to enable mass production with consistent quality.
• Perform continuous improvement on the product with respect to yield and cost.
• Successfully implement any engineering changes on the product during its life cycle.

Who You Are

• Experience in NPI Process
• Work experience in the EMS PCB Assembly process.
• Knowledge of Electronic components and packaging.
• Good Communication Skills
