L&T is looking for an engineer to supervise the piling and erection of temporary access bridge and erection of enabling works such as trestles / working platform erections, etc in marine environment. The candidate will be responsible for the overall management of said works covering development of execution plan/work methodologies, implementation and execution of the works by deploying adequate resources and closely monitoring the same. He shall also be responsible for Safety & Quality of works as well as timely delivery of assigned tasks. He shall also work closely with other Engineers, Consultants/client to meet the Project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of piling and erection activities within the time, scope and cost as per the contract.
• Responsible for leading a team of workmen and supervise their activities in the field
• Study the drawings, work methods and organise the requirement materials, tools and tackles, machineries proactively
• Report to the management on physical progress along with technical inputs for improving the productivity
• Keep a track of reconciliations of materials being used against issued from stores leading to better traceability of assets within the site.
• Ensure inspection of site activities at appropriate stages is relevant and recorded.
• Responsible for enforcing safety measures including strict adherence to the standard operating procedures as per L&T’s policy.
• Accountable for optimal Productivity of Assets utilization
