• Accurately assign Evaluation and Management (E&M) codes to medical records in compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
• Review patient records to determine appropriate E&M levels based on documented medical services.
• Work closely with healthcare providers and other coding staff to ensure coding accuracy.
• Stay up to date with changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Adhere to all relevant compliance and privacy requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in E&M coding.
• Strong knowledge of Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding guidelines and medical terminology.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record systems.
