Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software

2. Observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement

3. Developing effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures

4. Ensuring all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations.
